What is a lotion candle?

A lotion candle is made from skin-safe ingredients that melt into a warm, nourishing moisturizer as it burns. Enjoy it as a candle for the scent and glow, then once a small pool of wax has melted, blow out the flame, let it cool for a moment, and smooth the warm liquid into your skin.

Is the wax really safe to use on my skin?

Yes. Our Pure Lux Lotion Candles are hand-poured with skin-safe ingredients, including nourishing shea butter, and are designed to be used as a body moisturizer. Always check that the melted wax feels comfortably warm and never hot before applying. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend a small patch test first.

How do I use it safely?

Light the candle and let it burn until a thin pool of wax forms. Blow out the flame before applying, and let the wax cool slightly so it is warm, not hot. Pour a small amount into your hand and massage it into your skin. Never apply the wax while the candle is lit, keep the wick trimmed to about a quarter inch, and always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from children, pets, and anything flammable.

How long will my candle last?

Burn time depends on how often and how long you light it. To get the most from your candle, allow the wax to melt evenly across the full surface on the first burn and trim the wick before each use.

What ingredients do you use? Do they contain allergens?

Can I use it as a massage or body moisturizer?

Absolutely. The melted wax works beautifully as a hand, body, or massage moisturizer. Just confirm it is comfortably warm first, and avoid applying to sensitive or broken skin.

How should I store my candle?

Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat to protect the fragrance and texture.

Will my candle melt in shipping during warm weather?

Because our products are wax-based, they can soften in high heat. During warmer months we recommend bringing your package indoors promptly after delivery. See our Shipping Policy for more details.

Where do you ship and how long does it take?

We currently ship within the United States. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, and delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days after that. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.

What is your return policy?
